After a solid six hours of westward driving on I-90, we just pulled through the gate into Badlands National Park. The parks ranger at the gate gave us free passes as a graduation gift after we explained our trip. Less than 5 minutes into the park, we already have some beautiful pictures!
Two young West Point graduates embark on a three week road trip to understand and discover the country we've sworn to defend. Please send us suggestions and recommendations on places to visit! You can email us at seanvtoal@gmail.com

How close are you guys to the Grand Canyon??
ReplyDeleteHi Guys!!! It is us...Bill and Jeanette (with the 2 little dogs). We met you at the Badlands and again at the KOA Campground. I think I may have taken 2 of these pictures (above) of the two of you together! The one you took of us turned out too and we'll have to send you a copy! We hope you had a wonderful adventure and were SO impressed with what great guys you are. We wish you the best!!!
ReplyDeleteJeanette and Bill too : )
Hey Bill and Jeanette. Thanks so much for that wonderful comment and the pictures. As we had mentioned a few times throughout our blog, it's not only the natural beauty that makes this country great; It's the people we've have sworn to defend that make it great. Thanks again for your service Bill!
